Giving Toronto Families a Hand Up, not a Hand Out.

You can help build a home by Putting Your Name on the Line

Habitat for Humanity Toronto helps low-income families build and buy simple, decent quality affordable homes though a no-interest, no-profit mortgage with payments set at less than 30 percent of gross income. This solution not only helps to provide available housing for families in need, it enables low-income families to build assets, reduce their dependence on other forms of social assistance and break the cycle of poverty.

Help comes in many forms and is easy to do. Volunteer at a Habitat Toronto event. Help raise funds by engaging your friends, family, or colleagues. Share in a corporate team building (adopt-a-day) experience to build a house. Not only do we welcome groups, individuals are also more than welcome to volunteer and build. Or share your construction expertise and join Habitat Toronto by becoming a construction site Crew Leader.

Consider donating your gently used renovation materials such as cabinetry, appliances, light fixtures and more to any one of our four Habitat for Humanity Toronto ReStores across the city. Did you know revenue generated though a ReStore pays for 100% Habitat for Humanity Toronto's administrative cost? That is how easy it can be - simply shop at a ReStore and you've helped a fmaily in need. But come back often as inventory always changes - what a great way to buy that unique item for your home or gift for someone!

The choice is yours. By fundraising, donating, volunteering, shopping, or sharing, you've put your name on the line to help Habitat for Humanity Toronto help build a home and give a family a new start at life.

We invite you to join us. By working together, we can build great things. Get involved today by contacting us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or call (416) 755-7353.
