Qualify for a Habitat for Humanity Toronto Home |
|
Habitat for Humanity Toronto builds affordable homes with low-income families who currently live in overcrowded and substandard housing. Since 1988, over 225 homes have been built throughout Toronto, improving both the lives of our Habitat Partner Families and the communities we serve.
Did you know:
-
Habitat Toronto Homeownership ensures low income families own their own home - empowering families who may have relied on municipal rental subsidies, to contribute to the City of Toronto's annual operating budget through the payment of property taxes.
-
By partnering with low income families to become Habitat Homeowners through a no-interest, no-profit mortgage, families gain access to capital, helping them break free from the multigenerational cycle of poverty.
If you are interested in applying for a Habitat for Humanity Toronto home, we ask that you attend an Information Session to receive an application. Please refer to ‘Information Session Dates’ for dates, times and locations of the Information Sessions.
