D’Arcy Doherty is past President of AGF Trust Company, a full service financial institution and a wholly owned subsidiary of AGF Management Limited.

A Toronto native, D’Arcy began his career as an investment banker for McLeod Young Weir & Co. in Toronto and subsequently joined Midland Doherty where he became a V P and Director of Corporate Finance and Chairman of the Company’s investment committee. From there he became President of AGF Trust and built the company into a profitable deposit taking institution licensed across Canada.

D’Arcy is a graduate of Upper Canada College and McGill University, B.Comm. 1964. He is past Chair of the Board of Oolagen Community Services, past Director of the Resource Technology Centre (Sudbury) and former Treasurer, Director and Member of the Executive Committee of the Writers’ Trust of Canada.

D’Arcy is married and has two grown sons. His interests include golf, tennis, squash, skiing and travel.
