Visionaries ($150,000+)

Mr Ed and Mrs. Fran Clark
In addition to involving TD Bank Group with Habitat for Humanity Toronto, Mr and Mrs. Clark have donated over $2,500,000 to Habitat for Humanity Toronto since 2004.

The Hawkins Family
Susan Hawkins and her family have been involved with Habitat for Humanity Toronto since 2000, starting out as a volunteer on the Volunteer Committee, moving onto the Board of Directors in 2004 and sponsoring a home each and every year since 2001, donating over $1,000,000. Not only is Susan busy with the planning of Habitat for Humanity Toronto, but she often will put on her steel-toes and come on site to swing a hammer and give a hand for a family in need.

The Home Depot Canada Foundation
The Home Depot Canada is Habitat Toronto’s Partner in Sustainability for the 5th year in a row, helping Habitat for Humanity Toronto build sustainable homes, using the highest standards of green construction.  The Home Depot and its Team Depot associates have volunteered hundreds of volunteer hours and continue to lead the way in corporate social responsibility – putting their hammers where their heart is. We thank them for their additional support through the 360 Build Smart Partnership program.

Manulife Financial
In 2010, Manulife Financial brought its corporate values to life by becoming our official Volunteer Program Sponsor. Manulife believes in the value and power of employee volunteerism and has made this the focus of their renewed support.  Having sponsored homes since 2004, they not only promote volunteerism as part of their corporate culture, they prove it through the hundreds of volunteer shifts they book and the waiting list of employees interested in swinging a hammer each year.

The Rotary Club of Scarborough
The Rotary Club of Scarborough launched their support of Habitat for Humanity Toronto in 2010 with a very generous donation of $150,000. Rotary Members have become involved in our 2011 Women Build, supplying a pancake breakfast each day for the Women Build participants and in other capacities such as registration.

Sprucegrove Investments
Sprucegrove Investment Management Ltd. has sponsored 2 Habitat Toronto homes: one at 1500 Weston Road and the other at 4572 Kingston Road.  Sprucegrove is a privately held, Toronto-based company owned by its employees.  They have enjoyed building side by side with partner families and other dedicated volunteers and have had the pleasure of presenting their partner family with keys to their new home at 1500 Weston Road in December 2010.

SNC Lavalin Inc.
SNC Lavalin has proven that doubling efforts equals greater results.  Combined fundraising of both SNC Lavalin with its sister companies, they have made possible the construction of two homes at our 1500 Weston Road development and currenlty, two homes at 4572 Kingston Road.  As Community Builders, SNC Lavalin has provided countless volunteer hours and almost $500,000 in funds raised to further the habitat mission.

Toronto Bank Group
TD Bank Financial Group and its employees have been swinging hammers for Habitat since 2004, following the lead of CEO Ed Clark who sits on the Habitat for Humanity Toronto's Advisory Council. This year, TD Bank made a landmark commitment to Habitat Toronto through a multi-year, national initiative that will see TD’s carbon offsets enabling the construction of sustainable Habitat homes.  This vision, coupled with their enthusiasm on the build site makes TD Bank Group Habitat Toronto’s largest annual corporate contributor.
