Karen Visentin, Corporate Legal Counsel

Karen is a graduate of McGill University and Osgoode Hall Law School. She became involved with Habitat in the spring of 1988 when the Toronto affiliate was first starting up. Karen has been involved with Habitat ever since as a founding member, Board member, volunteer lawyer and now in-house counsel.
In addition to her work at Habitat, Karen also has her own law practice and is Chair of the Board for CRC/Self-Help, a non-profit housing organization in Toronto.
As a break from law Karen began running and completed her first half-marathon in October, 2006.
