Looking for a different way to treat your mom this Mother’s Day? Come out to build with Habitat for Humanity Toronto!
The Mother’s Day Build is a Habitat Toronto tradition and continues to be a fun and thoughtful way to celebrate everything your mom has done for you. Mothers, sons and daughters* will help build 20 Habitat homes together, enjoy a delicious lunch and take home some goodies on Sunday, May 9th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Participants must each raise a minimum of $150 per pair in pledges (or $75 per person) and will have access to an online fundraising tool to help reach (or even exceed) their targets. Prizes will be awarded to the top two fundraisers.
So come out to the William’s Way build site with your mother this May and enjoy a day of learning new skills, spending time with your mom, meeting great people, and helping Habitat for Humanity Toronto build homes in partnership with families living in need.
When: Sunday, May 9th, 2010, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Where: The William’s Way build site (near Weston Rd. and Jane St.)
* Volunteers must be 16 years or older
