Founded in 1988, Habitat for Humanity Toronto started as a local grassroots organization that with the help of a group of very dedicated volunteers and a handful of corporate donors, built one or two homes every couple of years.

All of this changed in 2001, when Habitat Toronto undertook the challenge of building seven homes. In 2009, thanks to the continued support of our dedicated volunteers and the generosity of our donors we will be working on 84 homes.
