Land: They're Not Making it Anymore

The high cost of land in the city of Toronto is one of the many stumbling blocks to building affordable housing. Although Habitat for Humanity Toronto is sometimes able to get discounted land from City surplus lists, most of the time we purchase land on the open market.

Please help us build homes and hope, and break the cycle of poverty by donating your property or the funds to buy more land.

To donate your property for future Habitat development, please contact Wayne Dempsey at 416-755-7353 x 226.

If you know of a property that may be suitable for a Habitat for Humanity build, please complete the Phase I Site Selection Survey or forward the address (or approximate location) to Wayne Dempsey.

The information from the completed survey will help the Site Selection Committee determine whether or not the property is suitable for one of our builds.
